Orbetello, September 2025 – OP DEL PESCE announces the start of the first cultivation of the dumeril crayfish (seriola dumerili) at the Orbetello facility. The introduction of this new species complements the established production of trout, salmon and lamprey, strengthening the organization’s strategy of diversifying its product offering.

The product will be available on the market starting from Spring-summer 2026, This confirms OP DEL PESCE’s commitment to carefully planning the development of new productions and to always guarantee the highest quality level.

With this initiative, OP DEL PESCE expands its production portfolio and aims to respond more fully to the needs of the organized retail market and the Ho.Re.Ca. sector, guaranteeing high-quality products that are traceable and obtained in compliance with the strictest animal welfare standards.
