Claudio Pedroni joins the Market Advisory Council (MAC) Board as the only Italian delegate for aquaculture
Op del Pesce is pleased to announce that Claudio Pedroni, Mr. Francesco Di Pietro, President of the organization and Executive Vice President of the Italian Piscicultors Association (API) with responsibility for mariculture, has been appointed a member of the Board of Directors of Market Advisory Council (MAC), As the sole representative of aquaculture for Italy.

The MAC is an advisory body recognized by the European Commission, established to provide strategic recommendations and opinions on the market dynamics of the fishing and aquaculture sector. By bringing together representatives from the production chain, processing, distribution, and consumer associations, the Council has the task of fostering dialogue between institutions and operators, guiding European policies towards a more sustainable, competitive, and transparent development. 

The appointment of Claudio Pedroni takes on particular significance: his presence guarantees our country an authoritative voice within a European table of primary importance, capable of influencing the decisions concerning the fish-processing industry. Pedroni’s participation, as the only Italian delegate, It represents a recognition of the work carried out over the years in favor of the enhancement of national aquaculture and the promotion of sustainable and innovative practices.
